macbook Airpot inactive status and can't connect back onto the wifi??

son of a bitch! my macbook just decided to turn all internet connections off and not let me turn it back on.

Problem
  • no internet!!!
  • The wifi icon is blank
  • Airport status says "inactive" in Network Preferences
  • Airport can't be turn back on to active
At first I thought my wifi card fried or something. Now I suspect it's the system upgrade from APPLE that messed up the settings.

Solution
I have tried many different things and finally found one thing worked! I am writing this post the first thing I got my internet back. Anyway, let's fix it.
  1. click on your Wifi icon
  2. Open Network Preferences
  3. select Airport
  4. hit the "-" button below to remove it from the list
  5. hit the "+" button to add it back to the list
  6. click "Turn Airport On"
  7. click "Apply"
hope this saved your day! enjoy :)
